Advanced Community Management Training Course
The Advanced Community Management Training Course (ACMTC) is a 6-month program that equips students with the skills they need to work as leaders in their communities. It runs from June to December each year.
Students who pass the Basic Course and are interested in furthering their skills are eligible to apply for the ACMTC. This year we will aim to have 20 students participating in the course.
The teaching on the ACMTC is centred around organizational leadership and community mobilization. Students study a range of subjects including Office Management, Community Development, Project Planning, Campaigning and Lobbying, Fundraising and Proposal Writing, all of which are taught in English by our volunteers. Students also receive English and IT training.
After completing the ACMTC many students go on to work in their communities, and some pursue further education.
